2/ Salt plains of Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia

4/ Iguaçu Falls, Brazil-Argentina border
These waterfalls are simply incredible. There are 275 falls along a 1.67 mile stretch of the Iguazu River, with some falls tumbling from 82 metres high. The falls are shaped like a horseshoe and are almost three times wider than Niagara Falls. Spot the magical rainbows created as the spray rises into the air. The Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is the largest volcanic caldera in the world – a magnificent crater formed when a volcano erupted and collapsed on itself. 8/ Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentina
Stand in awe, gazing up at the dazzling white peaks of Argentina’s Perito Moreno Glacier. Set in Los Glaciares National Park, the glacier is three miles wide, 19 miles long and around 60 metres tall – and is actually growing over time. The ice field has the world’s third largest reserve of fresh water and the deepest parts stretch a whopping 700 metres thick. 10/ Sossusvlei sand dunes, Namibia
The sand dunes in Sossusvlei are the highest sand dunes in the world and a spectacular sight in Namibia. Head to the Sossusvlei Desert Reserve at sunrise when the colours and shadows constantly change and capture that perfect photo.
